Christmas is Family Time!
Salutations Santa’s Elves!(Parents)
I was sitting here putting a list together for all the stuff I have to
do to make Christmas special for my family. As the list got bigger and bigger
I started to feel overwhelmed and worried about time and money! I had to stop and gather
my thoughts because I want to feel good and enjoy Christmas.
As parents we get so lost at this time of year and its hard stay focused on what is really important!
Whats important to me is the memories that my children will keep with them for years to come.
I intend for them to remember feeling warm and special.
I want them to remember a beautiful meal that we all cooked together.
I intend for them to be proud of the ornaments that they made with their own hands.
I want them to feel loved because I remembered every gift they wanted!
First I made a clear intention for clarity on what I really wanted,
then I went back to the list and removed anything that was not aligned with what I was wanting.
I ask myself what I could do to make things easier.
I made it clear to myself what my limitations were and I felt better about the whole list!
By knowing what you are wanting and understanding your limitations
you can feel good every year at Christmas time!
Remember that Christmas is family time and not to worrie about anything else!
