Happy Saturday to all!

Its is true that we choose our reaction to any given situation.

We choose to see good or bad,  its all in our preception of the moment.  Finding a new perspective can give you freedom.

Freedom from anger and stress!

I think that parents in general over react because of fear.

Fear of what could happen or fear of what others will think

of them if their children turn out to be less than perfect.

I believe with all my heart that we are all perfectly made,

and the diversity of that means that we can choose to

see our children as equals. 

As the same learning breathing humans that we all are.

Not as smaller or less knowledgeable but as equal.

When we treat them like they are

less than thats all they know…I am less!

When parents look past

all the dos and don’ts of this socioty they start to see that most

if not all of the things we fear are just small baby steps towards a

better understanding of who they really are. These steps that we see

as mistakes are paving the road to who they want to be.

And these so called mistakes truly have nothing to do with us parents.  

Its about them and what they set out to learn in this lifetime.

Without those mistakes they would never know!

My mother always told me “dont sweat the small stuff!”

The older I get the more I realize that its all small stuff!

So, the next time you feel yourself slipping into a rage over something

that your child did remind yourself that its all small stuff, and theres a

lesson to be learned in every mistake.

Not to mension forgivness feels great to both of you!

You Choose

When you see me in my happy place do you feel proud of me?

Even if my happy place is not the same as yours…. you see

I can be any where I choose to be…… so happy is what I choose for me!

This poem is for you to recognize the heart inside of me that always

loves you even when you choose to be…an angerball with me!

So if you get to choose how you feel about me

what do you choose to see inside of me…

Please choose to see the greatness that resides in me because its all I can see…

I am proud of you for choosing to love me unconditionally!

Children need to know…

You must reach beyond what you know into the complete unknown to understand who you are.  Your energy is yours alone and anytime you define yourself in terms of your thoughts, other peoples thoughts about you or the norms of the culture in which you live, you are being unfaithful to yourself! Everyone’s purpose and meaning is different and shouldn’t be expected to confine ones own purpose to a box that others before them made. You are much more then anything that can be seen or explained in this physical reality. Bigger then the thoughts and opinions of others. Larger then the sea of questions that surround existence and space.  You like everything else, are love! You have an energy body and a physical body and both need to be feed a nourishing diet of understanding.  You were created with love and love carries you from one day to the next on a magic carpet of dreams and possibilities!  Your past does not define you and the future is not here yet.

Find joy and peace for what is your NOW!

I need your love energy to be healthy, expand, and grow…

    I am NOT ENOUGH to keep myself healthy…….to survive.

I need you to feed my energy with love, or I will starve…..

I need you to pay close attention to my gifts, so I will learn to appreciate my own beauty…..

I need you to kiss my boo boo’s and remember that the love energy you give to me,

    feeds my soul…..

I need you to show me how to be understanding, so I will be understanding with others….

I need you to allow me to be who I am, so I wont judge others for who they are……

It’s a great time to be a Detroit resident! I had heard told, that Detroit would be implementing a recycling Program about a month ago, but assumed that it would be years coming. Well, incredibly enough It starts July 2009! A trial run for 30,000 east and west side Detroiters will take affect in just a couple weeks! I have been concerned with this for a while, and feel very proud of the beautiful innovative city in which I live! Bravo to all that made it possible! Bravo to Jennifer Granholm! A great amount of Michiganders said your vision was to big and entailed to much. I knew that it was possible by the determination in your voice, and I am proud of your leadership and steadfastness, in these times of shift and change! I join parents from around Michigan in saying thank you for relentlessly thinking big! My family and I are ready for this change and prepared to get our hands dirty! The next step is to inspire people around the Motor City to learn and expand on an environmental level!

The goal of the City’s recycling program is:

To encourage all Detroit residents to reduce, reuse and recycle

Reduce – cut back on materials for disposal; buy products with less packaging; buy only what you need

Reuse – Try to find other acceptable uses for leftover products and items

Recycle – Recycle products or containers if you can

To determine the most cost-effective method of implementing citywide recycling in Detroit by collecting data from a pilot curbside recycling program in two designated areas and from the recycling drop-off locations.

It’s a start, and I am very excited about that!

Recognize every blessing in your life and be extremely thankful for them!

When you make an intention to notice everything you love about your life

and say thank you for these blessings the Universe makes a path to send

more blessings your way. Love and gratitude are the highest vibrations

available to us. Its also important to bless others in any way we can. The

Law of Karma will bring blessings back to us with lightning speed! When

you bless others either with time or goods you are sending out a clear

vibration that you have a lot to give. Abundance of time and goods are sure

to follow. This will be extremely important in the years to come because

when others are talking about shortages of food, health, and money your

family will be abundant and prosperous. By teaching our children this at an

early age they are sure to live a bounteous life filled with harmony.
