Segment Intenting for Children

Dia duit (pronounced gee-ah ditch; literally “God be with you” in Gaelic)creative parents!

Its a beautiful spring day in Detroit MI!  The air feels good and flows with the promise of many warm days ahead!  I my thankful for that!  My husband and I are buying a new 4 bed room house here for $4,500.00!  It doesn’t need to much work either.  I feel abundant and blessed not to worry about a house payment anymore.  The housing crisis has a good side and I’m taking advantage of it!  I will post some pictures of the house soon.  I appreciate any love and light you can send my way!  Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I also wrote a little something on learning how to

segment intend for children below.

I hope you Enjoy it!

Take a moment and read it to your favorite kid!

I believe we can all benefit from making intentions and planning out the way we want our days to go.

Segment intending is easy to do and powerful to practice!

You will connect with your energy system using The Universal Law of Attraction!

How to go about Segment Intending

Plan out some time for your segment. Not a long

time.  A small amount of time works best!

Decide on your aim for that segment. It could be a list of

things that you need to get done, a good feeling emotion, or

both. For instance, you might decide that you want to

remain calm and focused for a science test. Simply state out

loud “I intend to stay calm and focused for the time it takes

me to ace this test.” Maybe you want to get your math and

spelling done in an hour and you want it to be easy. Say out

loud “I intend for this to be easy.” Then say “I intend to have

plenty of time to get my math and spelling done.” Its just

thinking about what you want and making an intention for

this segment of your day to go just as you want it to.

When the segment start time arrives, start your segment

with no second thoughts.  Only pay attention to the tasks for

that segment and nothing else. Know that you already made

an intention and everything will go as planned. Never

second guess your intention. Faith in the intention is all

 you will need.

If you get interrupted during your segment, you need to

decide whether the interruption is important enough for

you to stop your segment (for instance, if your teacher

stops by your desk and ask you some questions). If the

interruption is not important enough, keep going on

your segment. If the interruption is important, make a

conscious decision to stop your current segment and

start a new one (one centered around the interruption).

If your principal wants you to help him in the lunch

room unexpectedly you could make a new intention like

“I intend to enjoy helping out in the lunch room.”

Practice doing these segments throughout the day. Each

segment is a training period for your mind, and will teach

your mind to assist you in whatever you are doing. Segment

intending works even better with a friend, who can help you

stay on track and stay focused. Whether you segment intend

by yourself or with a friend, you’ll find your mind becoming

much more responsive to your spiritual needs.

Enjoy!

These are just a few intentions that I make everyday!

I intend to have a safe happy healthy journey

 though my day.

I intend to send light and love out ahead of me

 today.

I intend to enjoy every second of this day.

I intend to find things to be thankful for.
